"Accio" to summon objects to you; "Aguamenti" to cause a jet of water to shoot from your wand (say it right or it will only spit at you; "Alohomora" to open/unlock doors ; "Anapneo" to clear a throat's airway if choking ; There's an "anti-cheating" spell that faculty put on parchment and quills during exams; there's an "anti-disapparition" jinx that can prevent someone from apparating and disapparating in an area for a time; there's "Antonin Dolohov's Curse" cast 3 times it creates a streak of purple flames that causes serious injury without visible wounds; "Aparecium" makes invisible ink visible; "Avada Kedavra" (killing curse) causes instant, painless death; "Avis" creates a flock of birds from the caster's wand. These are just the "A's". I might come back sometime and do the "B's". As I am a tad obsessive-compulsive, I probably will do them all over the next few months. If you like.
