I see that. I was a little slow on the Lily/Snape thing(obviously)! Oh well, I stand by my fave.
I haven't read book seven yet, but for me, there's still something about the first book that is still exciting to me that makes it my favorite. I think that in a way, I almost don't want to read the last book because I think that it would be the end. It would be sad to come to the end and find nothing left. Maybe that's why I keep postponing reading it! LOL But I think that the first book is just special, it brings you into this exciting world where things aren't what they seem, and everything moves in a way that it shouldn't. :)
I can see where you'd like the first book; it certainly intruduced us to an exciting new world.
The Deathly Hallows by a long shot, but I have to say The Half Blood prince was great too.
Goblet of Fire by Far is my favorite book of the series
Faith Silverwolf
Definately the 3rd...I'm just in love with Sirius Black and his tragic story though after you learn how his past and James Potter's was connected to Snape...I don't know, I still liked him but James Potter less
Although I love the seventh (it's my close second...) I'm definately going to have to say it was the third book that I loved the best.

Just because I loved the insults provided by the maurauder's map... and how people kept constantly bursting into the shrieking shack and loosing their wands. XD That cracked me up.

Although my three favorite moments are...

1) Kreacher and his frying pan. "Just for luck?" I just about died... my grandfather and parents gave me such a strange look xD

2) Hermione's exclamation, "But there's no wood!" in the first book XD Priceless. That should have made the movie.

3) Kreacher leading the house elves during the final battle. The image just made me giggle. X3
I enjoyed all of the books, but the 7th book was definitely the best!
That is a difficult choice. I loved every single one of the books, however, I was most intrigued with the Half-Blood Prince and the Order of the Phoenix out of all of them. There was so much going on in those books, that I found that J.K. Rowling had really out done herself and the stories were very well written.

The seventh book, would be in third place, but is tied with Order of the phoenix and Half-Blood. 'tis a shame, that we will no longer be able to read about the adventures of their children. But, there is always fan fiction and fan art to keep us fans entertained!. =^-^=
chamber of secrets is d best.young voldemort:)
