Welcome to new members of the group. This is to let you all know I will be available very infrequently from now until the end of 2012. I am having 3 big operations and will need a long recovery period before I am back to normal.

Please help each other with your questions on Kundalini and I will come back as soon as I am able.

I sent a friend request, Rev Skydancer. Have to be friends to send mail through witchschool. I found a place for elemental reiki just need the kundalini reiki master track and I'm finished I think. Then keep struggling through spiritual reflexology, lol.

Good work, you've certainly got my attention, I'm enthralled. I've taken Usui, Karuna Ki, and Sacred Flames. I'd love to learn Kundalini reiki and elemental reiki. I feel like that would make a perfect pentagram to chose a point from, so to speak ; )

  KUNDALINI REIKI

I wanted to give a short mention about Kundalini Reiki. When some people hear the word Kundalini they often think of Reiki first and not the natural energy that lays dormant in us all from birth. When I first became interested in Reiki it was Kundalini Reiki (KR) that spoke to me. I did go on to studying and taking Usui and other forms of Reiki, but have always felt a closer affinity to KR.

Unlike the majority of other Reiki modalities, KR attunement starts from opening the base Chakra and pushing the energy upward towards & out of the crown. This is performed during 3 separate attunements 5 (or more), days apart. As each attunement takes place the chakra energy centres are widened and cleansed to ease the pressure of energy flow.

The first attunement enables you to perform healing on yourself. The second - raises your energy to the Solar Plexus and again you should only use this energy on yourself. Unlike Usui where you can treat others from your first attunement, KR energy is strong enough to start off a Kundalini Awakening, and not everyone is ready for, or wants this thrust upon them. I would advise leaving a couple of weeks before attuning to level 3, so your body can acclimatise itself to the bodily changes occurring.

After the 3rd attunement your Kundalini channel is widened enough to allow the strong 'fire' to ascend through all the chakras and out of the crown. You are now ready to heal and attune others, and with the help of the manual & teacher you will be able to teach your own courses.

Most teachers will add extra attunements to the KR, these are:
Birth Trauma R, Location R, Past Life R, DNA R, Crystalline R and Gold Reiki.

Unlike other Reiki modalities KR does not have any symbols or hand positions as activating the base chakra energy is all that's needed. It is a great healing system and easier to learn than other Reiki methods.

After my KR course I started using it as an adjunct to my Counselling sessions. I found it worked really well by relaxing clients and opening the Heart Chakra. This allowed them to be not only more open in their emotions but it also helped clean out their pain & negativity.

  DAKINI REIKI

My clients were abused women and sometimes children. I worked on altering the KR in a few ways and named my new healing modality 'DAKINI REIKI'. I drew on the strength of the Buddhist Dakini Goddess named Yeshe Tsogyal. her nick name was 'SKYDANCER'. In her life she had been abused by men and had healed herself through forgiveness and a refusal to let her abusers ruin her life. Dakini Reiki also included practical work done outside of the Reiki system. It is an attunement I am happy to pass onto others working in the caring professions.
