November 5, 2011 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 3616 E.
Lake Mead Blvd from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Artists are welcome to display
their "Spirit in Art" and reflect the individual connection that Art has
to Spirit in the Pagan community.Contact info@...

People of all ages and spiritual backgrounds are welcome.The event will
feature a Pagan ceremony, information booths from local charities,
authors and speakers on various Pagan spiritual practices and children's
crafts.
The First Speaker is Anne Key. Anne Key is adjunct faculty in Women's
Studies and Religious Studies at the College of Southern Nevada. She is
a graduate of the Women's Spirituality Program of California Institute
of Integral Studies where her investigations centered on Mesoamerica.
Co-founder of Goddess Institute Publishing, Dr. Key was Priestess of the
Temple of Goddess Spirituality Dedicated to Sekhmet, located in Nevada,
from 2004-2007. She is the author of /Desert Priestess: a memoir/ and
she is co-editor of /The Heart of the Sun: An Anthology in Exaltation of
Sekhmet,/ both published by Goddess Ink. Anne resides in Albuquerque
with her husband, his four cats and her snake.
The Second Speaker is Orion Foxwood. Orion is a witch and Elder in
Romano Celtic-Traditional Craft, High Priest in Alexandrian Wicca and
teacher of the Faery Seership tradition. He is also the founding Elder
of Foxwood Temple and a primary founder of the Alliance of the Old
Religion, a national network of covens in his line that have united to
preserve the ways of his Elders. For over 20 years, he has lectured
extensively across the United States and in the United Kingdom on the
Craft, Faery Seership Tradition and Southern Folk Magic and conjure. He
is the author of /The Faery Teachings
/), a
collaborative CD project with RJ Stewart named Faery Seership
and his
newly released book /The Tree of Enchantment
/ .
"Pagan Pride Day is a celebration of diversity, culture, differences and
similarities. The community is full of different beliefs and practices
and together each one contributes to the whole. PPD reinforces the fact
that the community needs to respect everyone in it," said local
coordinator Peter "Bear" Beaulieu.
Las Vegas Pagan Pride Day is an affiliate of The International Pagan
Pride Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of
prejudice and religious discrimination through education, activism,
charity and community. By providing accurate information and showing the
greater community a glimpse into the Pagan culture, there is hope to
lessen the view of prejudice. Pagans are business professionals,
homemakers, artists and students. Pagans don't always fit the
stereotypes given to them. Pagan Pride celebrations are held annually
around the world
An item of non-perishable food will be accepted and donated to 3 Square
Food Bank. The food drive provides participants the ability to share
with others while making a positive statement about Paganism.Pagans have
been wrongly accused of practicing devil-worship and performing "black
magic."Most Pagans enjoy a religion emphasizing respect for nature,
humanity, and oneself. Modern Paganism is a growing religious movement
based on combinations of ancient polytheism, modern eco-spirituality,
and reverence for the Divine as both masculine and feminine.
The event is sponsored by Agave Sprit Grove, Well of the Moon, Grove of
the Sacred Springs,Unitarian Universalist Congregationand the Toteg

Hello Everyone,
I am happy to announce that I will be hosting a small event from 7/30-8/1/2011 in which Lord Terry will be attending and speaking. He has graciously offered to do initiations and dedications for anyone who needs them. I live in Las Vegas so this gives anyone who wants to come hear a presentation by one the new Correllian Elders and get their hands on initiation or dedication a great opportunity.

Good news my fellow Las Vegas Correllian's we have a Witan Shrine in the works filling out the app. and then submitting for final approval. So we shall see what comes It will be Desert Moon Rising and I have created a yahoo group just waiting for final approval before sending out invites for those intrested.
