Wiccans are aware of.........

In our first lesson we learn that Wiccans are aware of ___________________. Why??

In the first lesson I learned that Wiccans are very aware of Magic & how it works...and doesn't! Being that magic is in everything Wicca does in the form of Witchcraft, it's very important in knowing what it is & how it works. There's an old saying that you don't have to know what's under the hood of a car to drive it...but let that car break down, and you'll wish you did! I personally do not want to be one who goes around casting spell & tampering with magical energy around me, until I have been properly instructed to do so!

In the first lesson, I learned that Wiccans are aware of the consciousness of all things: trees, buildings, animals, the stars etc. I learnt that all things seek value fulfillment, and that we should try our best not to neglect the items that we own, but instead put them to good use. I learnt that we can come to sense the consciousness in all things, if only we make the effort to feel it.

I learnt the same thing. It is very satisfying to feel the things around me and know they are aware of me as well. We share the space, we do not own it.

In the first lesson we learned that Wiccans are aware of everything around us, what we see and what we cannot see. This state of mind is important because, not only in magic but also in every aspect of life, we should respect and acknowledge the importance of the things and beings that are in the universe. We need to remember that what affect an animal (for example) eventully will affect me. Everything has its purpose of being, that is why the Goddess create it. Is'nt it?

Wiccans are aware of everything around them. Wiccans realize that everything has a purpose and spirit. Everything in exisitance is a part of Deity and sacred.

The first lesson of Wicca is that we, as practicers of the craft, must be aware of all things around us. Magick flows through the life-providing veins muscle, accepting sweet wind, forever changing water, altering flame, and boundless earth. We must not look at a group of trees and say "I'm in a forest" but rather look at the big picture and see how everything moves in harmony with one another like the Butterfly effect. Acceptance of change, constants, growth and decay, are among a Wiccan's fullest awareness. Nothing is small enough to be deemed as something not to be noticed, for within even the smallest flower, a fairy can be born.
