I believe that the first step to making potion is selecting the ingredients. So, I propose that we as a group research and catalog these ingredients as a common reference point.
To save ourselves trouble later we should go about this in alphabetical order. We should also try  to make it as comprehensive as possible; one line descriptions can be found anywhere on the net.

Would anyone have any objection if I added animal products to this list (Meet, fur, bones, talismans, etc?) These have been a part of potion making since the dawn of time (though some things like eye of neut were really folk names for herbs). I would always suggest that a symbolic substitute be used when these things cannot be gathered ethically, . I do not want to post any here, however, if It will offend people or I'll get bashed for it. Note that I do not have much experience with these items myself, however, they have come up in an 12th century Bestiary I've been reading and I thought it might be useful.
