Emma, 19, disappeared without trace

Hi there Anna,

I am not connecting with her as I would with a person who's deceased and therefore I am relatively certain that this girl is alive. But she wants to be left alone and not be found. I see her with a young white man, skinny, studs all over the face, many above of them above the eyes (eyebrow region). He looks dressed like a punk would be, with spikey black hair. This young man wears make-up on occasion - black eyeliner. He also smokes a lot. Could be doing drugs as well. Studded leather arm-bands with chain detail.

If this was my daughter, I wouldn't want her to be friends with this type of person, so chances are good that she ran away from home to be with him. It will be a while, but she might just decide to go home on her own. I hope this happens before she gets hurt.

I think that Emma is alive and is living with the boy that Susan sees. She's afraid of what her great-grandmother would think of him, and so she won't go home. Or, they've commited a crime together and that's why they're hiding out. The boy did the crime and won't let go of Emma. Perhaps if she tried to leave, he's threatened to kill her?

I also feel a tightening on my throat when I think of her, but in a sense of not being able to speak up, afraid to make him angry - no idea who him is, but I am guessing it is the guy you have seen around her. Frozen from fear, inability to move away, but a desire to leave - I sense her alive, but with the knowledge that anything can set him off and he could hurt her.

I feel a gloved hand, tightening around Emma's throat, so that she can't talk or breathe. I also see a bicycle or motorcycle by the place where she's being kept.

I found out today that Emma was found dead in October 2009, 5 weeks after she went missing. I have no idea what the cause of her death was though, as I cannot understand the newspaper articles. I did find a video posted by her brother on YouTube that says she was found. From the lyrics that go with the video I'm getting the idea that she might have committed suicide.
