Freyja's Vé is a site about Freyja, come to be because of Freyja's own wish. The site creator had a meeting with Freyja during a seidr - Seiðr - session, and you can read all about it on the site.
I'm really poor at explaining.. but I will give it a go:
Seiðr is when the Volve, or Spaekona, goes into a trance and seeks answers or advice. Usually these are women, but of course in our time, both men and women are doing this. Usually people will chant a verse while the Volve is doing the trancework, and one by one they can ask the Volve questions, that s/he will then try to find an answer to, by in the trance communicating and barganing with the Gods, or other beings.
