Merry Meet Everyone,
Once more, it is time to open the nominations for the Correllian Service Awards. We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the Year 9 Fall Lustration. These awards were instituted to recognize the excellent work of the members of our Tradition.
The nominations will close out at Midnight on 22 August, Year 9. This allows the committee and the First Priesthood sufficient time to prepare for the awards during the Lustration ritual in September. We recognize the time is short this cycle, so don't delay in sending your nominations.
There are five awards in this program:
Order of the Copper Athame -- representing Air, the realm of ideas, recognizes achievement in the Sciences, including divination, astrology, herbology, enviro-technology, etc.
Order of the Golden Wand -- representing Fire, the realm of passion and action, recognizes acts of bravery or compassion in the service of others.
Order of the Silver Chalice -- representing Water, the realm of emotion and intuition, recognizes achievement in the Arts, including visual arts, dance, music, etc.
Order of the Iron Pentacle -- representing Earth, the realm of stability, integration, and wisdom, recognizes achievement in teaching, writing, etc.
Order of the Thurible -- representing Spirit, the smoke carrying our prayers to the Gods, recognizes achievement in ritual leadership and writing. This award can also be used to recognize those whose spirituality had inspired others to greater commitment and devotion.
The awards are open to every member of the Correllian Tradition, except for the Arch Priesthood.
The procedure for nominating is simple. Send an email to us at silthoron9@yahoo.com with the word "Nomination" in the subject. We will take it from there. Letters of nomination should be as complete as possible. If you have examples of the person's work, please include any supporting media you have.
Each cycle, the level of the nominations improves. We look forward to some excellent nominees this Fall.
