Hi, everyone! I'm Dee or Ambergold (DolmaDraka's friend). I've
recently turned 51 and have elven, dragon and wolven aspects. Ask
her - I've got all sorts of 'toys' around the house depicting them.
<G> I've been path-walking since Spring of '84 and have
more than a little kitchen witch about me. --A little of this, a
dash of that, ooo - what would that do to the mix, hmm, toss it in the
pot anyways.
I know I've been a variety of people in past lives (and
stations). In this, I've learned wolf since '82 and dragon since
around '87. Consciously aware of them, that is. Elven... I
daresay I've always known. Most of the 'mythical' creatures have
drawn me since I was a kid. And have been guardians to me.
Since I began to path-walk, I've delved into Native American shamanism,
Celtic magic and plain ol' kitchen witchery. Now I'm a member of
the School, I'm trying to formalize some of the stuff I've picked up
over the years.
Hi Ambergold! It's soooo nice to meet you! I've heard a lot about you from Dolma--she talks about you frequently--very nicely, tho, of course!
I hope to get to know you better soon--I think we have a lot in common. I have some elfin (my preferred term for it, as it's been tossed in my head! LOL) ancestry and linkage. I also believe I've had many past lives as you do, too. I have a horse connection, too. And that's a bit odd, but hey, I go with what I'm dealt--but the horse connection is also in elfin connection. Wicked! LOL ;)
When I work in the kitchen, I rarely go by recipe, it's usually a little of this and a little of that, tho I can hardly call myself a kitchen witch yet--I strive to one day get there, tho.
I tend to use elven, singular and plural. From things on the other side of the barrier between us, it's not so great to hear the Queen of the Court of Light rant at how humans have demunitized the elven race. Can anybody say Keebler elves? As to your horse aspect, if it works for you, great.
Recipe? What recipe? We doan' need no steenking recipe! That's part of being a kitchen witch. So you -are- one. So there!
