There are some families out there that do understand. However if you live in the Bible belt, which I'll be moving to pretty soon (like next year) then you will have families that might not understand. I'm currently practicing Hellenism but I do keep a Wiccan altar up in my room without it being really noticeable that I do have a Wiccan altar. I don't have my tools out so that everyone can see because I think that the altar should be about the deity then about the tools. I think that elemental representations should be left out until you need them for ritual.

I do feel for you, big time. My mother, back when I was fully into Wicca, told me that I couldn't practice it and I was a fully grown adult woman. I do hope that you get out of your parents house soon so that you can practice your path. Hope this helps.
