As Peace Weavers, I think that it is not only important for us to work on sending peace into the world as individuals, as many of us do daily, weekly, or monthly, but to also keep current on what other organizations are doing as well. (And maybe join their efforts too) And there are so many organizations working hard to promote peace. I hope to be able to share some of them with everyone throughout the year.

Our Mission
The mission of Nonviolent Peaceforce is to promote, develop and implement unarmed civilian peacekeeping as a tool for reducing violence and protecting civilians in situations of violent conflict.
Currently they are working on projects in Sri Lanka, the Phillipines, and the Sudan. They are also looking into sending members into South Caucasus which is a region south of Russia, north of Turkey and Iran, and composed by three internationally recognized states (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia).
