As a reiki healer, I receive many personal requests for healing and send healing freely. My question addresses a topic that I am very interested in hearing your opinions about.
With the re-awakening of interest in 'New Thought' teachings and work with the Law of Attraction, I am receiving requests for healing where the recipient prefers that the focus of the healing be on sending the healing energy. The belief being, as I was also taught in my reiki training, that the healing energy will go where it is needed for each individual.
The Law of Attraction states that what one focuses on is what one will surely receive more of, hence to focus upon an illness or negative issue or situation will surely bring more of the same. On the other hand to focus simply on healing will bring more healing.
I feel it is a logical request and I comply with the recipients requests. I actually prefer to send healing in this way as it feels positive and good. As a witch, I work closely with the Law of Attraction and the Law of 3 which are basically the same, so I am very familiar with the teachings.
I always follow the wishes of the individual, and am now asking which method they prefer.
So what are your thoughts?

It is wonderful that you have brought this to the table!! I have the dvd called the secret and I love it! It points out that the universe gives us all we ask for, The thing is it does not know the difference in good or bad energy it just knows we ask. Therefore I send healing requests for healing loving energy for health and love, calmness etc. I do not focus on the affliction as the universe would pick up on that vibration and consequently bring more of what we are trying to relinguish. The same as our peace weavers idea, I do not focus on wars or such things, I just focus on peace and love hence it sends tha vibration out and places it in the universe.

I think it is unbelieveably amazing!! I believe it is the key. I am excited about this book. I hope you get a chance to read it. I would love to hear what you think about it.

If you want to order it online you can go to http://www.thesecret.tv/ or,
you will find it at Barnes & Noble and most all bookstores. I got mine as a gift, but I know that WalMart is carrying it also. It's pretty much available everywhere books are sold.
I don't think I'll be able to make it to Lustration. But will be with you in spirit!
