The best way to attune to your new set is to make sure that they are cleansed and purified for your purpose. No telling what kind of energies they have picked up before you got them. If you have already done that, the best way to attune to them is work with them and the energy in them. Meditate on their energy and introduce yourself. Ask them if they will work with you. Then keep them with you for awhile, so they can attune to your energies. Hopefully this helps.

Comment by Michelle Gates on October 24, 2011 at 5:01am: I have done mine on found quartz crystal. Went to the mine to get them. However, that set I knew wasn't mine and I gave them away. I now have some malakite (sp) that I want to put runes on, but not certain if I can engrave them or just put them on.

Comment by Michelle Gates on October 16, 2011 at 9:38am: Merry meet, Mrs. Webb. I am glad you are here. This group has been a bit on the quiet side. I'm always pretty vocal and love to chat. Witch School is one of the best places I have found to learn so much more. Besides the books that are referenced, you have the opportunity to work with and share with people of all levels. I am not a mentor, as I haven't taken that class yet. When you start your classes you will get a mentor. And, I might add, now is a great time to get the lifetime membership as it is under $30---awesome pricing and so well worth it! If you don't have that yet, don't hold out for long. That pricing won't stay there for long. Now...If you do have a question on Runes, I may be able to at least guide you as that is a real focus for me. If there is questions on anything else, I still may be of some help, so don't be afraid to ask. And if you have a mentor for your classes, that would be your go-to person. So...ask away and we all will see you get some answers or at least a way to find them. Have a blessed day!

I am doing my paper for 2nd Degree on the backgrounds of the individual runes and how they interact with the whole aett or set of runes. I am using the Elder Futhark, which has 24 runes, as a basis for my paper. I thought we might want to discuss the Runes as it pertains to you. I have quite a few books on the subject, but (of course) I don't have them all. Your interpretations will be different as it will have a certain meaning for you. I guess, my question for you all is: What is your interpretations of the Fehu rune and how did you come up with that interpretation? It's ok to site where you got it, really. All of this discussion, if it goes well, will be in my paper so that I can pass my 2nd Degree. Thanks again for all the help.
