Tameran Wicca

This is a discussion group for Wiccans who incorporate Egyptian Deities and reconstructed Egyptian rituals within their craft. The word Tamera comes from t3 mry "land of two riverbanks", another native term for "Egypt". Kemet (Kemetic, Kemeticism) is another name for Egypt and comes from km.t "black land" referring to the black silt from the River Nile.

All are welcome here, but it should be stated that we are Wiccans first, who incorporate eclectic elements of Tamera/Kemetic practices into our craft secondly.

There is a Correllian Iseum called the "Temple of Isis" that can train you and provide a spiritual home for any Tameran Wiccan interested. http://isis.houseofneteru.com/

Our aim is to provide as accurate information as possible, looking to scholarly sources to back our claims.

We will also discuss 'Heka', Egyptian Magick.
