Mine is about 99% Scots, with the remaining 1% a single Cherokee ancestor. My family has been in North America since the 1600sContinue

Bright Blessings fellow Kelts. I was ruminating through my book of shadows and came across this. I think you'll enjoy it.

The Gorsedd Prayer

We come in the power of the serpent,
we come by the triple rods of light,
we come by the flame within the egg,
we establish this place in Annwn by
blood and fire and stone.

May the Goddess grant us affection;
and in that affection, understanding;
and in that understanding, reason;
and in that reason, wisdom;
and in that wisdom, loyalty;
and in that loyalty, quickening;
and in that quickening, affection.

May we find truth;
and in that truth, feeling;
and in that feeling, life;
and in that life, truth.

Y gwr yn erbyn y byd
(the truth against the world).

Dia Duit a Dhaoine na Thuath na gCaerideamh! If anyone would like to develop a vocabulary of Irish Gaelic, just ask! I'm very glad to see a group of such nature! I also do have a quite extensive knowledge of Irish folklore and mythology passed down from my grandad, so again, ask and you shall receive!

Awesome Raincloud. Thanks for the link. I'll join the site and add our group as a resource there.

Sparrow, that is awesome. Good luck and let me know if you need any assistance. You may not know but I'm pretty musical also. :-)

I desire to start a Non Profit that is Artistically based sort of like A small version of National Endowment for the Arts,.

I am going to call it S.H.A.M.A.N. it is an acronym for the Society of Humane Artistic Mergers and Networks
