Hi Chrissy: Thanks I'll try that it's been hard to move forward with out the energy flowing. My mind just don't stop! It will be great to shut everything out so i can concetrate.

Hi Doris!

One thing I've found that helps me is to put on some headphones or earbuds and play music while I'm meditating. It stops my mind from racing through the "What time is it?" "Did I remember to turn off the iron?" "My back is itchy." syndrome. I focus on the music and it shuts everything else out so I can concentrate.

I have a playlist on my ipod specifically for meditation that starts off with two songs with lyrics then switches to instrumental pieces.

Im having a really hard time being able to clear my mind so i can the energy flow through my body. Im needing some advice on how to clear my mind any advise.

Thanks for the views on the courses, but my problem is my 'altar wreckers!' My 1 and 3 year old. They instinctively know when I'm going on the computer, and then accordingly get into everything they can! Tried setting up an altar, forgot something and made the mistake of leaving it alone. When I got back, my son Bobby had wrecked the whole setting. Ack! He likes my statues of the God and Goddess, maybe I'll get a set for his room when he gets a little older.

thank you Chrissy! I decided just to jump in. I do wish there had been some sort of overview when one signs up, but still very happy to be here and I am a sponge and want to soak up everything! Will check out your reccomendations. Thank you!
