Mentor suggestions?

I am just beginning my First Degree studies and need to choose a mentor. In going through the list, I see that many rely on Yahoo Groups as part of the mentoring. Are there any mentors that DON'T? I do not use Yahoo Groups and don't plan to, so I would appreciate not having this be a requirement.

All mentors have to use yahoo groups, its a requirement.

I am finishing my first degree now. My mentor uses Yahoo groups, but the messages just come in my email. I don´t even know how to get onto Yahoo groups if its not through email. That being said, even though there is a group, the majority of the messages are through regular email. Good luck with your studies.

I have Rev Michael of Sacred Fire Temple in TX. I don't do a lot on Yahoo also,even though I'm on it. I'm mostly techo-illerate. He is kind enough to correspond with me on AOL. Does this help?
