I have a couple of books and Live Journal communities that I've read to get information on otherkin. Does anyone have any resources they've found helpful as they explore what it means to be otherkin?

I belong to a couple of online communities, though I'm not really very active lately, but other than that, not much. I also have an LJ account, and I belong to a couple communities there, too. I actually haven't read anything in books. There is a website called adrastai.com that I've read some stuff on, which is probably the only thing like a book I'd say I've read, really.
I'm glad you found Lupa's book informative. It's been really helpful to me in learning about all of who I am.
Hi I am new here. I haven't read any of Lupa's books but am longing to. Yes I must head over to Amazon tout de suite! I first discovered her in Witches & Pagans Magazine and am completely impressed with her.
Hmmm...

I've got an online resource listing up here: The GROOVY Werewolf's Guide to Resources on... etc. etc.
Shameless self-promotion, I know.

Yasmine Galenorn's Totem Magic: Dance of the Shapeshifter explains about being a nonhuman soul born in human form, from a witchcraft perspective.

Rosalyn Greene's The Magic of Shapeshifting is all about therianthropy, written by a shifter and based on interviews, tradition, contemporary studies, historical records and mythology.

Joe H. Slate's Beyond Reincarnation teaches practical trance induction and past-life memory retrieval, which is a useful skill for figuring out what you are/were, and for finding new insights.

Claude Lecouteux wrote Witches, Werewolves and Fairies which is historical accounts viewed with the lens of the astral doubling phenomenon, but this might not be as useful...

Llewellyn Publications has books on all kinds of supernatural beings, if you look.
