I have always considered myself tied to unicorns very deeply if not one myself. My earliest memories even still include them. I am sure there are others here. I consider myself a winged unicorn. My color changes with my mood and desires, as I work my magic. However, I have almost always been black or white. Do any of you feel that you are unicorn otherkin?

I have gone by the Name Unicorn, Black Unicorn more popularly, from many years. I am also part of a couple Unicorn tribes on the web. Hope you are Blessed Be! MM MP MMA!
Black Unicorn? There's a song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaaOzeHiPGw by Heather Alexander! Check it out, its "unicorn heavy metal" (I think I made that up). Its great and I love the song, so maybe you'll like it, hehe. I go by Princess Unicorn or Tariel Nimara (which coincidentally happens to translate as Princess Unicorn in some Tolkien Language I was shown after picking the name) :D
Rock out! Horns! I love it. I love the howl intro particularly. :)
Forgive my ignorance. :/ What does MP and MMA mean, Fay? Thanks!
A few years a go I had a friend who repeatedly said I was a unicorn. I love them so much. I remember looking in futile all over Youtube and Google looking for proof of real existance. I feel so certain they are there like faeries too. That they can come and go between dimensions. Another reason I feel so attached to the unicorn is the purity and ability to fly which my psyche is always yearning for. I feel kinda dumpy on here not having found a magical name for myself. I am still looking.

That is awesome! I believe there are faeries too. In fact, our coven honors both creatures in our rituals, among others. I know what you mean about unicorns. I have always wanted to fly. When I was in high school (thats over 13 years ago), I wrote an essay about what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote about myself as a flying unicorn, mwahahahah! As for a magical name, I named myself after one of my D&D characters. The name had come to me and felt wonderful. After choosing it as my name, a friend later showed me that "tariel nimara" means "princess unicorn" in tolkienese (not sure which Tolkien language though). Princess Unicorn was the name of my first (and many subsequent) D&D characters (I started naming characters this at age 7), so people who knew that made fun of me, since I had accidentally renamed myself the old name of my old character(s). But, the name stuck, everyone, me included likes it, so my magical name has stuck. So, it must be meant to be.
You have a RAD name! I love it. This fellow here at Witchschool (Salem Phoenix) helped me pick out my name the other day. So now I am like a willow type tree blowing in a hefty wind. I'm happy with that! I really wish I had gotten into D&D way back when. But I have never known any people who did that. I wish I had, I would probably have been a lot less lonely.
Tariel,

Can you recommend any classes to me for learning more about faeries or good books? I had a good book once that explained the existence of faeries from a quantum physics perspective and discussed tiny dimensions. I wish I hadn't had to sell it way back when.
