Hello, Singing Water. I made my scrying mirror by buying a picture frame and spray painting the back of the glass black. After you finish the tool, cleanse, consecrate, etc. as you would any other tool. :)

Hello. I'm new to the group. I feel a strong pull toward water scrying, but I'm not quite sure how to get started. I've also bookmarked online instructions for how to make a scrying mirror. My main concern is how to activate the tool after I choose one?

@magickofme Thanks! I think it's because it's relatively new. @afaedah Honestly, you sort of have to fall into it naturally. It's hard for me to "decide to scry;" I end up having to sit there for quite a while before I can zone out naturally.

Does anyone have any tips or pointers as to how to get in the proper state of mind in order to scry? for me it depends upon which method I am using.

its something i've long done but hadn't considered the reason or result till recently
I like to use modern english as i've come to know it complete with slang as you'll all come to notice. so when i say i like to stare at clouds, in essence that is me scrying since im not really looking at the clouds to contemplate there moisture content. other than nature i like my laptop shell (obsidian gloss finish) and crystals of all kinds to scrye with
