I am sending this message because I know I will get the best advice. I thank you for that….I wanted to share something personal… I hope who ever read this don’t mind…I’m in a relationship for over three years…I’m engaged. I love this man so much! I was a single mom through out my earlier years while my sons were still young, it was very difficult for me to meet that man that truly completes me & I can trust. I ask God & our Goddess for guidance. “How it is that we can choose the man, but not the family they come from, right?” My fiancé was not so honest in the beginning; he was going through a lot of drama from a previous marriage when we first met. He got arrested over four times for domestic violence & had all throughout his marriage a very dysfunctional family environment. This composed by him, (His ex wife & his two sons).He claims he did not tell me because he was afraid that I will reject him & not get to know him as who he really is. And that would not be fair…he said! Through out the years with him, he has been the most humble, attentive & sensitive man I ever know. Never a word of insult, loudness or rudeness. He’s a good to me. But, when all this was going down, his divorce & grieve of an ending marriage for over 24 years, this at the same time meeting me. His two sons were man already, ages 22 & 24 years old. “Grown man” Neither one of them working, got an education nor try to accomplish anything. They both blame their parents’ dysfunctional marriage & the divorce for ruin their life. For that they can’t do anything because they are unhappy. They love drama, caused problems & hate me for loving their father. You see when their mother left them for another man, my fiancé was so hurt that he made a promise to them to never leave them. They misunderstood this promise & took it as their pay check guarantee, someone that will always feed them, cloth them, buy them games & pay their bills. The will never have to work. So he found me & decided to move in with me surprisingly. I did not ask him, he one day showed up with all his belongings in front of my door, knowing that I will take him. Because he does tells me that he knows for sure that I love him. I tried in the beginning to build a relationship with his sons & get to know them, help them as much as possible, with advice & finding them a job… what a mistake! However it did not took long for me to see who they really are & their intentions. They are manipulative scavengers, always after who they can take advantage of, with their poor- me- drama. After, seeing who they really are & their evil intent. I took my self away from them & will not allow them ever again to disturb my peaceful life. They talk trash about me, they called me disrespectful names & this my fiancé knows & witness. But ….he keeps antagonizing me to accept them, to love them & that I should give them a chance. He tells me that if I don’t love them, I don’t love him. My heart does not allow me too. They are set in a very disturbing & disgusting way. Individuals like that never change they only know how to destroy. They even call their father all kinds of names. They also went to court at their age, demanding child support. They are manipulative individuals & they use guilt to control my fiancé. My fiancé finds all kind of excuses for a behavior that still going on. They know exactly how to control him. I need for my fiancé to see where he’s wrong & see who they really are. I need to do something to banish them out of our life, with out hurting them. Just want them far from our relationship & my fiancé to know & realize they will end up separating us. This is something they are looking for, with their behavior & poisoned heart. They want their father alone & they will not stop until they succeed. Please Help !

Is it just me or are we distancing ourselves from the magic of personal ceremony? Like to hear your comments. This is in respect virtual candles and tools thing. Personally, not performing ritual with real tools and candles seems like the power is removed from the tools which are the conduit for the sending and receiving the potent power that use raise when everything is vibrationally attuned to you. Also, it seems sterile ans sad somehow.

Anastasia - love your name, did you get it from the books on Anastasia?
They're actually interesting magical material, although fiction, i've been told by my Druid Mentor - i.e. my mentor who is not the one i have on here.

Usually the leadership and ordained folks here suggest the course LIVING THE WICCAN LIFE on here. i'd also suggest the books on Wicca: A Guide to the Solitary practitioner and Living Wicca, A Further Guide to the Solitary Practitioner, by the late Scott Cuningham (may not have the titles exactly correct) and A Complete Guide to Witchcraft by Raymond Buckland - all 3 of which is for someone who doesn't have a teacher and a coven at hand. You can get the books at a relatively inexpensive price by buying them used on Amazon.com in your country or the main one which is for the USA.

i believe the LIVING THE WICCAN LIFE course is free to members here and MAY be available to non-members - some courses are and some aren't. Either way, being a member has a lot of benefits, if one can afford it and is a somewhat serious student.

re - telling fortunes- i believe there are classes here on tarot reading.

and about telling her who she is - i.e. your daughter - don't be surprised if she doesn't come back and tell you who YOU are - the kids, esp. the ones about 3-6 often see and know stuff, but they don't talk about it as teachers and others tell them that it's their imagination.

my friend - a spiritualist, feminist and shaman - has an amazing 5 year old grand-daughter that does just that. my step-daughter has an amazing little girl who wanted to run the circle herself for one of our Witch's holidays.

Anyways, you're in the right -place - if you also sign up for the first degree lessons, there are exercises with each and every lesson to help you develop your psychic gifts and they are very grounded and practical.
