Grieving Mom In Need of Resources

Hello, all.  I am desperately trying to find some help for myself so that I can begin healing after losing my daughter.  I lost her almost 5 years ago to SIDS.  I tried counseling shortly after her death, but, in the little podunk town I live in, the kind of help I really need is not available.  If you haven't lost a child, you may be wondering why on earth I am still trying to deal, why I haven't moved on.  You never move on from a loss like that, and I have been bottling up my grief from this…See More

I would think that we all deal with grief in our own private ways, but to hang on to it for so long is a sadder thing. I would think the reason your not doing well in any of your studies is because you are stuck in the past, we cannot change what has happened nor can we sometimes understand it and death is as much a part as living. you say you are a nurse ? then I would think that their are support groups for people such as your self who cant let go. And being a nurse no one should understand this better , since Im sure they see a lot of this. BB
