She did not know it was her fate to bekon the druidic call, though he lay in darkness she shined to show him the way out of purgatory, this was her destiny and she could not stray from it as much as she tried. It drained her more and more each time she crossed paths of the mortals lost in shadows, knowing their needs and what she must do next. Though it was strenuous she carried on her work as much as the thorns pricked her soul and tore it to bleed.

She had seen several come out of the shadows and see a clearing and was humbled yet it brightened her torment easing the pain for but a moment. She was a fallen angel who lost her wings willingly to assist crippled souls as they were sent to her.

Continuing on her path she has come to a crossroad where two darkened beings required her gentle touch. One from near and another from a far. As she continued her work her mortal flesh she walked in began to fail, yet she trudged on knowing her time was growing short. Holding out her hand she waited for it to be grasped by both, one out of reluctance the other happily took it but had his other hand on a satchel of chaos. She felt herself being brought down towards the chaotic one, yanked in the direction while she tried to heal both herself and her patients. She knew the choice was going to have to be made, her or her patient… this was not difficult for her in so much as it could have been… she gave up herself to aid them.

After their journey was finished and they moved on once again seeing the beauty of creation and the light in themselves, she walked away into the forest of no return. As she pulled the last thorn from her side, she grasped the rose of life and held it while she settled in for her eternity to come. Peace came over her as she prayed for those still needing hope. Though she was no longer walking among them, she would always hold their hand in battle.
