Merry meet! I'm a solitary eclectic Wiccan - I believe that there just might be a coven somewhere in my small town, but I actually prefer practicing by myself. I'm not usually on during the day - my job is pretty demanding. But I'm on in the mornings and afternoons.

I'd like to give a small tribute to my Beauty, my only friend at the time, and whom I considered my sister. She passed away on October 17th, 2006. I miss her so much, and I hope that she enjoyed her time with me - I know I treasured each moment with her.

I have Sensory Processing Disorder. You can look it up if you wish, but it's not too important. I lived for over fifteen years without a diagnosis. I'm writing an autobiography specifically about my life with SPD, and I hope that I can get it published. People need to know about this disorder, because it's more common than you may think. And being undiagnosed may just be one of the worst things you can imagine; I know from experience.

Finally, I'd love to give another shout-out to my incredible friends. I love you all, and I'm so so happy that you accept me for exactly who I am! This is for Lauren, Emily, the other Emily, Lizzie, Eliza, Molly, Kathy, Joanna, and of course my Beauty. I can't describe how much you give me hope. :)

I thank my Goddess for giving me the strength to get through my fifteen years of being undiagnosed, and all my years after my diagnosis to deal with it. I also thank Her for my wonderful friends, without whom I wouldn't be here today.

We Don't Have To Hide - We're Everywhere

For this holiday season, I went to visit family. It was wonderful, but I think my favorite part was the flight home.

I'm Getting Discouraged...

I've been feeling really discouraged lately. My brain disorder is making my life horrible right about now, and I'm on hold with a psychiatrist who may or may not actually try to help me by prescribing medicine. I hate meds, but they work, even though some of them have weird side-effects. I'm no stranger to the world of meds.

So yesterday I walked across the street to a park near my house. It has a long, winding path which leads to a lake, more path, a little playground, and some benches and tables. What an interesting person you are and I absolutely respect and honor that! Seems as though we have much in common and I hope that we get to communicate more so we can become better friends. I've been a practitioner of the Craft for over 20 years now and decided to start with the Correllian Tradition so it's starting First Degree Again! I'm sure you will find a coven that you will fall right into. I was a long time member of a coven (with respect I won't mention the name) wherein I was told to start on my own and do attend many open rituals but it's not the same so I know how you feel.
