I have used the citrus and squirt bottles as well but my cat (and my room mate's cats) refused to stay off of my alter. I had to resort to more drastic measures, and, unfortunately slightly messier ones....I ended up having to get those…

Merry Meet. I am sorry to bother anyone but I am in need of a new mentor. My teacher left me when I told her that I was going to follow the Celtic Pantheon. She doesn't like the Celts. I do well in my classes and want to become a member of the…
What Experience in Paganism/Wicca would you like to share?
No. I have been studying and practicing for about sixteen years but am always wanting to learn more. I also think that it always a good idea to go back and review the basics and to learn about other ways of worship. Witchschool is a wonderful way to learn and it makes a lot of sense to me. First of all, you are not 'the cast-off of another'. You have nothing to feel guilty about even as you honour the hurt you feel about this. If someone chooses to take exception to which gods call you, that is their problem. Even if we don't follow a particular pantheon ourselves we have no right to disrespect another's. To my mind, this applies doubly to a mentor. At the very least, if she/he doesn't want to teach students who follow a certain one, they should make this clear in their biography/introduction.
Secondly, none of the lesson materials is ment to be pantheon specific. The Correllian lessons teach that Deity is likened to a diamond, with individual deities being facets of the Whole. Therefore, whichever facets you are drawn to is irrelevant to the lesson work. It is not your mentor's business to criticize which deities choose you. Besides which, the Correllian Tradition also partly claims a Scottish - i.e. Celtic - heritage.
I don't know how easy/difficult it is these days to get a new mentor. The rules have been changing and it's been a long time since I went through that process.
I love the Butt Prints in the Sand! I've never seen it before. I saw your post on the lifetime member board. I would suggest getting a new mentor on the Witch School site. My first degree mentor was Rev Alena Orrison (Crystal Ariadne). I've started working with Lady Katherina lately and she would be a great mentor as well. As for not being online much, is it possible to print out the lessons? Good luck! If you need more help let me know and I'll see what I can do.
