I get asked this a lot. The truth though, is that I do. Let me explain...
My given name is Christina. As I was growing up my entire family called me Chrissy. I despised my name. With a heated, toxic vengeance. This stemmed from the fact that I also had a lot of hate for my family due to their problems with drugs and alcohol. I hated hearing my name on their lips.
