as far as I know, there are no occult stores in the area to my knowledge. if it is crystals you are seeking, then there is a place called "The Crystal Palace" in town.

I have no issue with you asking questions ;) I am solitary mostly but am friends with some local witches that get together every now and then for a ritual or two. I have not found a coven as of late but truthfully I really would love to be a part of one but it has to be the right people. It's like picking friends..Their are some who are acquaintances and those you are will to share you enter life with.
Practicing wise ...that is tough one as to the exact year. I am an eclectic for my year. My mother is straight of the boat Vietnamese and brought her traditions or as my father says super superstition. I still do them. My grandmother on my father side was a polish folk healer.Unfortunately to this date I can't do what she did. As far as Wicca....that has been off and on since my teen year. Just recently I am taking it seriously again and practicing daily. Honestly for the longest time I considered myself a theist..

I do however want to answer you tools question you blogged.
The tools or keys you are using are not necessary and at the same time can be .....this is a frustrating answer but bare with me.
Now here is the skinny from my perspective.
I feel there use is traditional, based on the pagan/wiccan tradition you practice, helpful for (especially new) practitioners in focusing energy, and lastly you should only use what feels comfortable to YOU!
The last two answers are the most important (to me anyway).
Ok so using them for focusing your energy and will. Lets take the athame. you can use it to cast a circle. Rule of thumb is the athame should never cut anything physical especially living entities.(Harm none rede) The reasoning behind it is that it the key is to only cut the veil between our worlds. This key will or athame when used will kick your subconscious in to gear and relate the two to help you focus on what you will to do. If you is to cut something or taint it it may not work as well due to you think of it as a tool to cut say butter with. I am sure that when you cast a circle you don't want to think of butter?
Lastly do what feels right!!! A lot of what is written are guideline to help you visualize and focus on the task at hand. The Deity and spirit will guide you and you are soooooo not alone in what you are doing.
There is more too it as I am sure others will have good ideas to share with you.Also If you don't understand what I have written please don't hesitate to ask.

miss rose i was just like u i was 12 and i enjoyed reading about wicca but the church i went to made me scare saying witshes were evil witch i belived i behavedas if i was repulsed belive me i was not so i stopped.when i reached 13 i could not stand it it was like half my soul had been ripped out so started goin to wicca chat rooms and they told me things the church never said and since im13 my parents dont know i read and hise the books and ill support you enytime were learning and i think we all are family because of the goddes.
