Are you a Witch School Supporting Member?
Yes I am. I have been for a few years now. I want to learn more about herbalism but I am certainly open to learn about many other forms or arts.
What Experience in Paganism/Wicca would you like to share?
My story is, of course, important to me but from an outsiders view it probably isn’t that fascinating.  It isn’t like the clouds parted and the sun rained down on me and angels sang, it was very quiet and subtle. I was 13 when I first started realizing that I wanted to follow a different path. I was raised in the south with the traditional Baptist upbringing. I have always had paranormal things happen in my life and have been sensitive to them. I still am. I am, by no means, saying I am a psychic or medium or anything like that, I am just more sensitive to the world that lives side by side with the living. I had a neighbor, when I was just 6, that dealt in the practice of Voodoo. She was always kind to me and my family. She was African American and she had an older white lady and a younger white girl that lived with her, the young girls name was Stormy. My dad would never let me go to her home though. Although he would allow Stormy to come play with me. I never understood that. One day my dad was not at home and I wanted to walk in the pasture behind our house and try to get Stormy’s attention to come play with me. When I started walking I just glanced and seen her house and decided to walk over to visit her. At this time I was not aware of what she and the others living there practiced, even if I had and when I did find out, I didn’t understand what it was and what it meant. We lived way out in the woods on a gravel road. Probably as far away from civilization as you could find..lol. Anyways I knocked on the screen door, the other door was open. I didn’t get a reply so I walked on in. As I slowly walked through the the kitchen I heard a noise. It was a squeaky noise, like the sound a rusted screen door would make. I walked into the living room and seen an old woman sitting there, in a rocking chair. (that explained the noise) She had white, snowy looking eyes, I now know that it was because she was blind. I talked to her but she never replied so I kept walking to find the other noise I was hearing. It was like a woman just hollering. I went through the other door that led to the outside and I saw her, with stormy and a few other people. They were moving around, acting strange. It was odd to me at that time because I didn’t not understand what they were doing. When they say me they stopped immediately and just looked at me. I thought she was going to scold me for being there. She just sent Stormy to walk me back home, nothing was ever said of the incent I had seen. I did notice doll drawings on a wall, with red paint, I hope..and weird symbols and little dolls hanging on a life size cross. It was a very hot day. The sun was out, not a cloud in the sky and I knew it wasn’t going to rain, because my dad always watched the weather in the morning and I would watch it with him. Stormy took me through the woods, this same day. I had an uneasy feeling, for some reason. We ended up a shack, is what it looked like, I had never seen before. It was unusual because me and her had walked the entire area for several years, I had never seen that shack before. Stormy told me to wait outside, there was a very large tree in front of the shack. She went inside then came back out with a drawing and a hammer with nails. She showed me the picture and said it was a drawing of me she had done. It was more of a stick figure nothing fascinating, a circle somewhat for the head with squiggly, curly hair, which is how my hair was. There were bolts all around the top of the page, she said they were lightning bolts. She took the picture, made me hold the nails and give one each time to her. She put a nail through the top of my head then one on each hand and foot, she nailed it to the big tree. I will have to post the rest later on my blog.
