Profile Information

Are you a Witch School Supporting Member?
No
What Experience in Paganism/Wicca would you like to share?
No, began studying in summer of 2004 as a Solitary practitioner, practiced Wicca for about 3 1/2 years until I was living in a place where I was unable to practice any magickal rites due to issues with incense and most importantly privacy. I still worked with crystal and stone magick, my stones never leave my side as well as my protective charms and talismans. It just seemed incomplete without rituals. My beliefs have remained strong, and I have never stopped studying and learning. I'm now in a position to go back to performing rites but am waiting till Imbolc to begin again, to start anew.

Song 100 suns

I like the song; however, I believe in many things in the song that are dismissed.

times in our life when we are journeying down the path of knowledge and wisdom looking for someone to help guide us towards a better life. It is said that time we must stop and think about the Lord and lady and asked for guidance. It is at that time they will send us a spirit guide to help us  on our journey down the path to knowledge and wisdom. And you also come across certain people that will offer other hand out and friendship to help guide you on your journey.

I figured if you have a good idea, share it. THIS IS A GREAT IDEA FOR A PENTACLE FOR YOUR ALTAR: The pentacle represents earth so usually stone or wood ones are recommended BUT HERE'S HOW TO DO IT CHEAP AND PERSONAL... Use the bottom piece of a terra cotta/clay flower pot. The extra piece that goes below the pot can make the perfect pentacle for an altar. By flipping it over you have a perfect circle that you can design yourself. They have a multitude of sizes. Whether you just want to use a marker and draw the pentagram on it, etch it with something sharp or paint it--gold for the God or silver for the Goddess, each point can be painted different colors to represent the elements. Mine is painted white with a black pentagram and 1 inch blocks of every color go around the sides. It's inexpensive, made of earth and most importantly unique unto you. Also, if an 8-spoked wheel is needed for any ritual, I recommend doing the same thing. I have a Samhain rite that requires a wheel, so it's perfect.

Welcome to WSI.
Don't ever let anything get in the way of your beliefs. You don't need to have anything to practice Wicca, if you can not do it openly, you can always practice in thought only. Where there is a will there is a way. Happy you have come to join us.
Brightest Blessings to you.
