Paganism and Me

My name is Maybyn or Juliet if you prefer. I have been studying metaphysical sciences for a little over 3 years. Im a baby. I know this. But Im eager to learn. I feel like this is what Ive been searching for my entire life. Im 37 years old and just figuring things out. I have been an empath my entire life. Thank goodness I discovered shielding! I have considered it a curse for many years. Now I know it is my gift. I feel everything. It's a hard thing. I've wished it away more times than I can count. Thankfully it never worked. Now I work with it rather than against it. MUCH BETTER!
I have degrees (mundane) in Communication, Psychology and am currently working on an English Lit degree with a Religious Studies minor. I am a dog trainer, and a pretty darned good one most of the time. I am currently working with an especially troublesome puppy. I will prevail though. One way or another. Ive got treats on my side! I amaze people with how quickly I can get their dogs to do things they could never imagine. i think I may have some skills to develop in this area.
I am a mother of 2. My daughter has been following my path for about a year after getting thrown out of a 'book' religion's community outreach program for telling them her mother was pagan. My spiritual husband is a Buddist/OTO/Mysteries enthusiast. He is a supportive and loving person, and my life mate.
I hope to enter the clergy here at WSI and lend my skills in any way I can. If I can not give what I have, I am nothing.
