Yes, I am a witch school student- still working on my 1st year degree
What Experience in Paganism/Wicca would you like to share?
I've always felt like I was a witch. When I was a kid I would run around with brooms and memorize spells from tv shows and stuff. I also made a spell book from printer paper and filled the pages with spells written in crayon and I would use a baton for a wand. And when I got older I got really into mythology. I remember when Disney's Hercules came out I would always "pretend" Aphrodite was my best friend and whenever I "played" with her I always felt like I could do anything and I was completely protected. Even when I was a little kid my mother would always tell me the moon was always smiling down at me, watching over me. Then when I was in 6th grade I was asked to play fortune teller for my little brothers' school's Halloween dance. So I brought some toy cards (replicas from a tv show called "Cardcaptors"- the cards looked an aweful lot like tarot cards) and did readings with them. A lot of the kids were freaked out by how close I was when I would do a past-present-future style spread and I was more popular than the haunted house- you should have seen the line to my tent! But a couple kids didn't like what I was doing so I left my tent to try and see the haunted house, they stole some of my cards, which kind of put a damper on my night. Then for a year after that kids would say the rhyme "Witch, witch, your a bitch" whenever they saw me (no lie). But I wasn't discouraged. When I got to high school I found out a couple of my closest friends were practicing wicca and one night at a sleep over we did a ritual to find my spirit animal and since then I was hooked :)

This is just a little video slide-show I made a few months ago on YouTube- hope you guys like it!

This is a song from the 1970 film "Pufnstuf" which is performed by the ever beguiling Mama Cass. I loved this movie when I was a kid, and this was always my favorite part. Listening to her lyrics now, I think I remember why I liked this song so much!!

The Hunger Games: This is what I thought of it

Posted on March 29, 2012 at 11:26am 3 Comments

I was poking around on my Facebook today and I saw that one of my favorite authors posted a new status update: it turns out that VH1 approached her to write a review for the new movie The Hunger Games. But apparently she technically wrote 2- one she submitted to VH1 but the other she didn't due to it's not-so-thrilled-about-all-of-this nature. I'll post the link to that review so you guys can read it, and then I'll give ya my 2 cents on it.…

Triming up the old, planting the new!

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 1:42pm 1 Comment

Spring has been sprung for over a week now and my seedlings are finally getting big enough to put in their big-plant pots. *Sniff* They grow up so fast!

This is the first year I've actually been able to plant whatever I want. I am celebrating my first spring on my own (Well, I have a room mate but we like, NEVER see each other) and I've been planting a lot of stuff. My roomie has pretty much told me I can do whatever I want with our front and back balconies (we live in a downtown…

One of the best compliments I've ever gotten

Posted on March 27, 2012 at 11:03pm 1 Comment

This past month I've gotten one of the best compliments from a friend I've ever gotten. It came from my friend Kylea on Ostara.

For Ostara this year I made gifts for everyone I know; I took plastic eggs and filled them with candy, some vegetable seeds, an incense cone, an offering stone and a rune. I was telling her about it via text and she said the following:

You know, I gotta give you a complement lol. The world is full of people who don't really know anything about their so…

Blessings everyone!

Well it has been one crazy, mixed up and never-boring year so far.So much has changed since the last time I've written a blog here or even signed on.

Things in my life are moving forward and I'm so excited. I've moved into a new great apartment downtown. This is actually my first time moving away from home. I've wanted to for the longest time and now my dream has come true. I've been putting it on hold for way too long. You see, my family has fallen… Continue
