An idea
I've been playing around with the idea of having a community clean-up event for sometime now and I'm finally buckling down and trying to make it happen. My idea so far has been to pick an area (think park or something of the like), meet up and clean the area. Merry Meet!
So its seems my studies will be slowing down for a bit due to two major factors: one my son (Xander) is getting fussier these days so I must attend him and secondly we got a second computer and in my husbands genius he put it right next to the old one, so now when I surf the net I use two computers. One always on youtube and the other working on my class studies. Internet Addiction? Pfft, whats that? x.x;

I am Lilia Whisper and I have been studying Paganism for 11 years now starting first with spirit guides, meditation, tarot cards and energy work. I began my book studies into traditions, ritual and tools about 6 years ago and have under gone 2 degrees of initiation in private ceremonies. I am in a period of review in my studies before I finish my studies for 3rd Degree.

I have lived in New Kent for more than 30 yrs., but I grew up in Richmond.
I taught at New Kent Middle School during the nineties; I was a Physical Science teacher. Actually, when you were taking your first tentative steps into your new world, I, too, was taking mine....as a new teacher! I earned my BS Degree when I was 36. Before that, I was a hairstylist, for @ 10 yrs.
We are also similar in that we both began our journey into the metaphysical realm at @ the same age.
I would offer to give you advice on how to study, etc..., but, I think it is the other way around! Achieving 3rd Degree status at your age is quite impressive.
I have been studying the Craft for several years, mostly on the beginner's level, but not with any serious goals, until this past year. I had not been particularly interested in attaining the 3 degrees; I am, and always will be, a Solitary, but I do like the way that formal study helps keep me focused and disciplined very much, and now that I am just about to earn my 1st Degree, I find myself excited that I have accomplished something that is of great personal value, and now I am looking forward to working toward my 2nd Degree.
I hope you will be kind enough to share your knowledge and experiences with me, and all of us here.
