A O'Sullivan (mommy moonlight) said… ya it was something I felt was proper, to have a ritual garment for such a sacred event as the birth of a child. But I of course googled it to see if it was a custom and for inspiration only to find out it was a new millennium fashion trend lol.
A O'Sullivan (mommy moonlight) said… Birthing gowns are a relatively new thing. It's actually because those Beverly hills style moms wanted to be stylish while giving birth. Most birthing gowns you can buy look up are more like a dress for a savvy social event. We (my high priestess and I) decided to make one to help make the ritual of birthing a child understood as being as important and blessed as any other ritual we preform if not more. We have special clothing for almost every other ritual and sabat so we thought this being almost more important the ALL of those it deserved an important attire too.

Steel ropes will drag her with winches and engines
Till there's only a stain on the sand.
So far from the Clyde
Together we ride... we did ride."
