St. john's wort is the classic. I take it in capsules, and it does wonders. You might also want to try rose (rose water, tea, oil, etc). If you're into aromatherapy, citrus helps like crazy. Oranges, limes, especially grapefruit. Squeeze…

Nick Foos commented on Witch School's group 'Herbalism Club'
Being an ex-smoker as well, I don't think that this has anything to do with the smoking. It's probably just heat rash. Lots of soothing herbs, like chamomile (internal and external), and make sure to stay hydrated. On another note, I…

Thanks for commenting, Megan! I'm 22 as well, and I completely agree with you. I love stuff, too. It's weird doing a ritual without a full-sized wand (right now I have a mini-wand), but it can be done, which is my point. "What is the…

I think what you are seeing is that wiccans and witches... well we just LOVE our "stuff"... I can do ritual naked in a padded cell if I had to... but I don't. I have an altar and more "stuff" than anyone should ever need to…

Artifice

I first became interested in witchcraft when I was about 13, mainly because of the prospect of doing magic, and secondly because of how COOL the practice was. Candles, incense, knives, elaborate chants and invocations of multiple gods- it sounded pretty awesome.Over time, however, the true aspect of the religion became clear to me. It became clear that Wicca is a religion that embraces magic, and that spellwork, tools, different names for deity-- all the things that popularly represent Wicca…See More

This might be a little out there, but bare with me. I always struggled with the gender dichotomy in Wicca (god - goddess, male - female), so, why not have a course about mixing Wicca with post-modern feminist theory? You could include authors like…

I agree with the other commenters here. Tools are just props. Their purpose to ease you into a state of mind where you will believe in yourself and your ability. Therefore, the only tool you'll ever need to perform ritual is you. I really…

I too love the freedom in Paganism - and I love that the community is so accepting of individual's beliefs. What makes me Pagan really is my self-identification with it - and I am proud to be Pagan :)
I hope to one day become Clergy within the Correllian Tradition (who work closely with Witch School), though I still have much to learn. I am still very new to this technically, especially compared to someone who has been Pagan for over ten years!

Only about a year myself, though I have always been Pagan at heart :)

I have always felt an attraction to the Old Ways and to Celtic gods and goddesses - which was mainly what brought me to Neo-Paganism. I've always had an obsession with ancient Celtic religion, though I had always thought that Pagans didn't exist anymore.

That's what I was originally expecting it to be like also, though I am still enjoying it. I'm hoping to take the First Degree course following completion of LWL, it looks resonably good.

If you don't mind my asking, how long have you been Pagan?

I'm very good thank you.

Thank you for replying to my discussion on Living the Wiccan Life! Are you taking the course?
