I am alive. It is such a beautiful thing to breathe air. To walk outside, to use my hands.

To be Wiccan is to in many ways be a person who looks deep into the basest, most primal feelings of life, and find the beauty in them. That

is essentially what deity means to us.

A person can argue that ANYTHING is beautiful, even decay and suffering can be subjectively beautiful things. But LIFE and some of the basest things we do…

..Crushing Dawn

Makes a tomb of the day

I cannot watch it rise

It has razed my skin away



bathing in thorns

my mind has been abandoned

thrust the twilight spears

into the chasms of my heart



My limbs will fail tonight

As dusk erases my sight

A throbbing sadness

Will stop my thoughts



In the Presence of Loss

My life will fade

Within the shadows of god

My body washes away…
