Tygerrs Lair Bio
Tygerrs Lair has been a work in progress for many years. Deemed a child prodigy at age three, Tygerr was sought after by the prestigious Berklee Music College. Tygerr has also played in several bands some of which opened for acts such as Alice Cooper, David Lee Roth and Stryper in the 80’s. She took voice lessons from Maestro Kyle who taught Geoff Tate (Queensryche) and the Wilson sisters (Heart) also of Seattle. This raven-haired beauty turned model was also featured in Australian Penthouse July 1994 which was one of most successful editions in Australian history.
In 1996, Las Vegas sensation Tygerrs Lair was formed with myself and Richie Scarlet from the Ace Frehley band. We were based in Las Vegas where we recorded our 6 song demo that garnered the immediate attention of Sony Records. In a few short months, Tygerrs Lair was being mentioned in several metal magazines including Metal Edge. Sony records jumped at the chance for an all star line-up group and offered us a multi-million dollar deal. After a few short weeks of living my dream, I was in an accident where they discovered in the CT scans I had 2 inoperable brain tumors. Life altering choices HAD to be made and in order to try and stay alive, I opted to decline the deal and pursue 2 years of grueling chemo therapy. At the end of my treatment, the doctors had bleak news that nothing had changed and that the prognosis was I had at most, 6 months to live. Leaving Las Vegas, I moved to Washington and with the help of my friends and family I continued to regain strength and my health continued to improve. in 2007, I reformed Tygerrs Lair this time with a new vision and a new hope. Having gone through several musicians trying to find that unique sound, by 2009 the Tygerrs Lair line-up was finally complete.
Tygerrs Lair is Seattle’s answer for metal lovers everywhere. Their high powered music is as inspirational as it is anthemic. From the intricate, shredding guitar riffs of Cody Nash and the skull crushing bass lines of Andy Delgado to the thundering double bass of Max Jordan on the drums, they are truly an animalistic force to be reckoned with. Tygerrs Lair is lead by metal’s only feline Goddess Tygerr. Armed with four inch claws as well as a seductive voice that melts souls, this sensuous, catlike diva will grab a hold of you from the first note and take you on a journey into the mystical world of Tygerrs Lair. The band is quickly building a reputation as one of the most impressive and explosive live acts in the Seattle area. They are currently recording their first full length CD De-Evolution to be released in early fall of 2010.
