i am a member (basic for right now) of Witchschool.com. Have been for awhile however a few major life changes have made it more diffucult for me to spend as much time as I want to with it. But those hurtles and adjustments are being dealt with and hopefuly i will find more and more free time to learn, grow, meet others and continue to be amazed at and with the world and everything in it.
What Experience in Paganism/Wicca would you like to share?
I was lucky enough to walk into ( literally) Wicca/paganism about 13 years ago. The person I was w/ that day wanted to go over to the Boothwyn antique auction and I decided to walk across the street to this quaint looking little house that had a sign outside that said "The Enchanted Cottage". I was aware at that time in my life of Native Indians ways ( I am 50% Lumbee Indian) and shamanism but not yet walking the the red or pagan path, I dont thinkI had ever even heard of Wicca up until that day. The place had a real cozy air about ..you may say I was drawn to it (I know that sounds cliche but thats how it was..honestly!) with gargoyles on the steps, wind chimes hanging , crystals in the window.... Anyway..I walk in..and within seconds a gentleman behind the counter hands me a packet of papers stapled together ( it was labeled wicca, your first lesson..) ...and that was my first lessons/teachings/expierence with wicca and paganism. Not to mention the place just felt good..I still get that sensation everytime I walk into an occult supply store.
