From Clump of Tree Stumps to Altar

June has been a very productive and magickal month for me... as some of you already know, I recently made my very first wand, and once that was accomplished I began working on creating an outdoor altar from a clump of tree stumps in my backyard. It's been a slow process just for the fact that I need to accumulate items that I want... or make them. My Wand in Progress

I thought I'd share my newest project... my first handmade wand. Mind you the attached photo is my sketch of what I hope it will look like when it's all done. I've never made a wand before but have been wanting to as I have never found one for sale that I have been attracted to, and homemade tools are much more personal and magickal anyway.

Beautiful Day

I spent today in the forest... just walking and enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the beauty. I even snapped a few pics with my cell. The forest has a wonderful affect on me; its so soothing and I feel closest to the Divine there. The weather was gorgeous... cool but sunny. Didn't see much wildlife while I was out, just some lizards, a raven, and a cow LOL, but I sure enjoyed it, and I am so thankful that I live so close to my beloved forest!…

Affirmation for Christmas/Yule

This is the most stressful time of year for me... I am the only Witch in my family, and in my family, we celebrate Christmas, but thankfully religion has never been a part of it; however I wish I could get away from all the commercial hubbub and rediscover the magick of this season.
