Hi, I am Diane but my Wiccan name is Firehawk. I have been a practicing solitary witch for about 4+ years now. For the last year I have been studying the Correllian Witch School - First Degree book. Finished it and I'm on to the Second Degree, but it says I need a mentor. Any takers, please! Let me know, I'll be eternally blessed and grateful!

I'm so happy to say that my daughter and I are moved into our new place. Still so much unpacking to do, but so far we love the new place. I can't wait to get my altar and meditation area set up. Space is an issue, so it will be a small one. I'm doing surprisingly well considering being newly separated from the husband (only one week and 2 days). I have my good days and not so good days. I feel lonely, but I have to remember that before I was feeling very lonely and my… Continue

I know WSI has wonderful BOS pages available through the store and auctions, but I needed lined, decorated pages so I could write in my own magicks. Found a great source!
Her artwork is beautiful! The pages are nice parchment with vellum coating. Images are laser printed, so no smearing or fading. I got the 310 page packet and I'm absolutely thrilled! It also included divider pages with… Continue

I feel terrible after taking about half a week's worth of Banderol. That's the new medication for the Lyme. I talked to Christine this morning and she helped me decide that the Samento isn't worth keeping most likely. I'll start today with going to half dose, and see how I do. It may be that both of them together are just kicking my butt, and I need to wean off the Samento. I hate this guessing game with the natural meds, but I guess it's better than dying!
I am sooo sore. I went… Continue

"FOUR winds blowing trough the sky,
You have seen poor maidens die,
Tell me what i shall do
That my lover may be true."
Said the wind from out south,
"Lay no kiss upon his mouth,"
And the wind from out west,
"Wound the heart within his breast"
And the wind from out the east,
"Send him empty from the feast"
And the wind from out the north,
"In the tempest thrust him forth;
When thou art more cruel than he,
Then will LOVE be kind to… Continue

I have been contemplating over the last few days since signing up, how I should get started being active in this group. I am not of your tradition, actually I am an electic Solitary Witch, but know in my heart, that your wisdom is something I can learn from. Therefore, I decided to use this first post to tell all of you hello, and express my deepest thanks for the work you are doing here and on other parts of the web, educating many Witches and non-pagans alike about our Craft. I am honored to… Continue

Continue

Well, the last month (literally since April 20th) has been a royal mess, perhaps disaster would be a good word to use? Between me, one of the cats, my grandmother, brother-in-law, sister, and mother, we've all been sick (all of us hospitalized but my sister and me--and I've been sick almost the entire time with something or another), and things have been insane around here.
I guess since this is my first entry here and many of you won't know me, I should give a little background. My… Continue

Continue

I'm very curious about this topic. I've been studying Wicca since '92 (or thereabouts), and have studied a wide variety of traditions, rituals, healing and magick. And I have yet to be able to distinguish between what the "basics" are from what would be considered "advanced." I'm sure I've studied some of both types, but would like to know if anyone can give me some guidelines for identifying one over the other or even specific examples. I think I'm looking for variety in philosophy / theory… Continue

over three and half hours!?!!
so i meditated for that long, and i didn't notice.
i guess thats a good thing.
my head felt so stuffy though. it was very frustrating. i think the whole process made it worse,
since i start to think too deeply and complicated.
its like i thought about everything i could, about the earth, water, fire, and air. i'm kinda inspired now to get these images out of my mind and out for… Continue

I had the rather distateful task of blocking posts from a young woman who invited me (and from looking at her profile) a great number of other WS members to chat with her on her web cam. She assured us we would not be disapopointed. I found this to be less than my cup of tea. I ought to have jotted her name down before doing the blocking, so I could inquire whether invites to chat via webcam sent to multiple recipients and with no info. on the topic of the webcam chat or info. about the sender… Continue
