We Have the Flu

I've been sorta outta it for the last week. The family has caught the flu. Thankfully, it seems a mild case for all of us. Alex, my 2 year old, got sick first. Then Lee and I got sick. I tested negative for the flu, so only missed one day at work. I could have used another day of rest, but it wasn't meant to be. Today should be a somewhat restful day.

My chest still hurts, but no coughing yet today. I think if I take it easy, I can avoid any further coughing.

Working on saying goodbye...

Well for the last week the old man { My Cat } has been getting worse and has change his features even more. I believe he's finally comin to his end. When cleansing and consecrating tools...

Im preparing to cast my very first circle and within it consecrate my tools. I understand I can use my finger rather then a wand or athame, but from there a lot of material I have read tells you to cleanse or purify the elements used to consecrate...most state that I should place the tip of athame in salt or water...but I can I do that if my tool has not been consecrated yet. One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We

Remembrance Day

Today is Remembrance day so we went to the big ceremony at Harbour Station (stadium). Vets of WWII are getting scarce on the ground now, but there were quite a few vets from Afghanistan there. I was pleased with the large turnout and especially the number of kids there. About 20 years ago almost nobody showed up for these things.
