I am quite new here and am looking for ways to start creating my own Book of Shadows. I am wanting something that is sturdy and strong, but not leather. I do not want to have my book made from the hide of a cow. I am also looking into the size and the binding of this book as it is going to have to last me this lifetime and than be passed down. Merry Meet all!

Merry Meet all, So sorry that I have not written anything sooner. As many of you may know I have a new baby, and a 8yr old who take most of my time. Well here's the most recent news, my son is now very acceptant of his sister, who is n ow five months old and will be 6 months Dec 1st. Wow!!! I am too afraid to admit that I am a witch to my friends at school because I know that I will be judged because of it. Is that wrong?

Preparing for Handfasting

Well, the date is set! On December 4, 2010, my soul mate and I will be handfasted. My close friend Sabrina will be performing it and everything will be all beautiful and decorated.

Now I'm just trying to figure out how to get everything put together, decide on the exact ceremony, and make our handfasting cord.

Our colors are going to be deep red, deep green and gold. Of course I'm going to have poinsettias for my flowers. Everything is going to be very simple.
