44 Days of Witchery

My very first books were Scott Cunningham's Wicca and Living Wicca. I ordered them from Amazon when I had just started college. I had been wondering about witchcraft just about my entire life (I did a research project on it for my GT class in the 6th grade) but I'd never had the resources to really find out about it. Nothing in the school library on real witchcraft - Surprise! So now that I had internet access and no parents looking over my shoulder for the first time, well... ever... I did some virtual roaming, and these were the first books I came across. I loved then and still love Cunningham's simple approach to Wicca. After reading more than a few personal webpages and such online, I was more than a little skeptical. But his books were so simple, logical, and spiritual that I was finally able to say to myself with certainty that this wasn't a silly religion about candle magic and potions. This was something I could live.

Other favorites include just about anything by Christopher Penczak, Ellen Cannon Reed, and Jeremy Naydler. There are many, many others - I'm a bit of a book whore - but I honestly don't remember their names. But isn't that typical?
