So, as a writer, I come across a well-known problem called "Writer's Block." And honestly, I hate it. I love to write and love to express myself with my words. But when I have a beautifully flowing idea in my head and awkwardly stumbling hands, it becomes a problem.
I remember late last year I came across pagan prayer beads and I wanted to explore that a little more, but alas never got the chance to. So, when I stumbled on it again a few days ago, I started looking into more (and as it so happens I'm having trouble with a few stories I'm working on for submission), and I came up with the idea to make my own creativity prayer beads. So that way, whenever I'm struggling with my writing or any other projects, I can pick up my beads and say my prayer.
For my prayer beads, I'm going to dedicate it to the nine Muses of Greek mythology and patron Gods and Goddesses of the arts from a few different pantheons. I have a few beads selected, but I want to make sure that they symbolize the Gods and Goddesses and the pantheons they come from, as well, so bead-selelcting is going rather slowly. And as for the prayer, well, I'm not ready to write that until I can physically see it and touch it. I wanna be inspired by it and let the words come to me. I don't want to write something now and then find out when I've actually finished it that the words don't fit.
