Here is our reading for today:

Justice*
Temperance*
Tower*

We begin our reading today with Justice, a Major Arcanum that represents the just reward of effort: that is, the more effort that we put into our situations, the more we will get out of them. Now some might say that this is always the case, but in fact there are times when we can work and work and never get results –this is not such a time. Next we have Temperance, a Major Arcanum that represents creating new things from old, transforming and revitalizing situations. Finally we have the Tower, a Major Arcanum that represents major changes in our situations or directions. Today is one of those days when all of our cards are Major Arcana. This indicates that those things that are happening at this time are especially important, and the energy is especially high. Altogether these cards tell us that today will be a day of reshaping our situations –of renewing and redirecting our energies. These new ideas and new directions will develop in direct proportion to how much effort we are willing to put into them.

A good stone for today would be Carnelian, a stone that promotes personal power and focus.

Today is the thirteenth anniversary of the publication of “The Other People”. Called “the first Pagan tract” The Other People is a cartoon-style booklet intended as an educational answer to evangelical prosetylization. Published in 1996 by Rt. Rev. Pete Pathfinder Davis of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, The Other People was written by Oberon Zell-Ravenheart and illustrated by me, M. Rev. Donald Lewis-Highcorrell. Interestingly enough among the many books I have written and the huge volume of artwork I have published The Other People may be the most popular work I have ever been involved in.
