Midsummer Circle Casting
At Midsummer: the longest day
All shadows seem so far away
The Sun a fiery glowing ball
The Sunlight permeating all
Where was ice and snow is heat
Where were empty fields is wheat
Where introspection was is action
And sultry Summer satisfaction
The Sun King beckons us to Him
Beneath the Oak tree’s leafy limb
And with my Athame there I cast
A Circle joining future to past
A sacred space beyond time’s reign
Between the Worlds we attain
Where time and space do not exist
And all is one within the mist
Within this Magic Circle we
Will work our Will magically
On the Astral Plane we’ll mold
What we’d create in Earthly fold
