Don Lewis and Ed Hubbard Coming to Australia

Greetings!

As you know Rev. Ed Hubbard and I are leaving for Australia on Monday 30 November to attend the Parliament of World Religions, which is being held in Melbourne from 3 – 9 December.

This is an important step for Witch School because on Monday 7 December Ed will be presenting at the Parliament on the subject of “Global and Interreligious Education Through Peer-to-Peer and Online Learning.” Although Witch School students may not always realize it, Witch School is a revolutionary peer-to-peer education system which has used the power of the internet to build a global education system that runs for pennies a day per student – an important possible model for future education systems in lesser developing countries and countries with highly dispersed populations. Our pioneering efforts in building this system to serve the Pagan community may prove to benefit the global community as a whole!

This is also an important step for the Correllian Tradition in the world, as the Parliament is the place were serious, credible religious leaders from around the globe meet and work together to build peace and understanding in the world. If we as Wiccans wish to be accepted as a credible world religion, if we as Correllians wish to play a part in the building of a better world, then we need to have a presence at the Parliament and events like it.

This is also an important step for the Correllian Tradition in Australia, because it allows us to meet our local Australian Correllians and form relationships that will help both sides in building the Correllian future in Australia. On Sunday 6 December there will be a social event for Correllians and Witch School students who would like to come out and meet us. I will also be offering initiations and initiatory confirmations on the 6th to Australian Correllians who are eligible for initiation. This will be a wonderful event and I hope that many of our Australian people will come out and meet us!

In addition I will have time available throughout my stay in Australia to meet with Correllians and Witch School students who may not be able to come on the 6th.

If you are a Correllian or a Witch School student in Australia and it is possible for you to come to Melbourne I sincerely hope that you will come out and meet me, as I would love to meet you! There is no knowing when I may be able to return to Australia in the future, so I am hoping to meet as many Correllians and Witch School students as I can now.
