Great Things For 2012

Greetings!

So far for me 2012 (Year 12 Aq.) has been really great! This time last year I was recovering from serious illness and struggling against overwhelming odds to keep the Museum here in Salem going. This year the Museum –the only Museum in the world to present a history of Witchcraft from a Correllian point of view- is stable and expanding, and I am deep in the midst of many new projects. It is a wonderfully different new year, and I have you to thank for it, because of your generous support when I most needed it.

This year instead of writing to you because I am in difficulty, I am able to write and share the great things we are doing in 2012. I know that some people are trepidacious about this year, but so far it looks pretty good to me, and we have been getting a lot done!

We are starting the year with a brand new course: Correllian Nativist Regalia, by Rt. Rev. Stephanie Neal. The Correllian Nativist Regalia course will soon be replacing the outdated Correllian State Robes course on Witch School, and will also be being sent out to all Correllian Clergy via email, so that everyone can become familiar with it. Correllian Nativist Regalia updates some parts of State Robes and clarifies others. It also includes many photos that were not in the older course.

Another really exciting development is the new Crystal Web Map. We have been building the Crystal Web for decades as a global network of energy connections anchored by Crystal Access Points. The new map pinpoints the many Crystal Access Points around the world so that people can see the physical aspect of the Crystal Web for the first time. MaryAnn Kay created the Crystal Web Map and she has done a magnificent job with it as she always does. Not every Access Point has been added yet, so if you don’t see yours be sure to contact MaryAnn at MaryAnn@witchschool.com. We are also bringing out a new Audio CD: Spells for Second Degree on audio CD. This is the first of many projects related to the filming of the Degree Lessons. Additional Audio CDs will follow in coming months as the videos themselves are prepared. As you may know, we are filming all of the Degree Lessons in high definition video: First, Second, and Third Degree. The new video sets are expected to be available by Beltaine, but along the way there will also be a range of Audio CDs and other projects related to the Degree Lessons. Many people seem to be afraid of this year. Some think it is the “End of the World”. As Correllians, however, we do not see it that way. The Correllian view is that this is just another step in the Turning of the Age. Although we officially marked the Turn of the Age as being Year 0 Aquarius / 2000 AD we are well aware that the Turn of the Age is a process rather than an event. Just as many years of spiritual growth and attunement led up to the Turn of the Age so too many years of growth and attunement will continue as we settle into the new Age. Are there changes unfolding? Certainly. Will they be good changes? They will be if we attune ourselves to the energies of the new Age and work to focus them in the most positive manner. As this year goes forward we will be doing numerous large and small rituals involving the Crystal Web to ensure that the unfolding energies of 2012 / Year 12 Aq. find the most beneficial channels for ourselves and the world as a whole. Think of it as an adventure! How often, after all, do we live through the Turning of an Age?
