Hello, my first post.

Hi, my pagan name is Raven. Since I do not belong to a coven, or a house, or anything like that, I feel free to choose my last name whenever I wish, according to what situation I'm facing and according to my mood or whatever I feel when facing that certain situation. I also sometimes spell it as "Ra'avn" or "Ra'aven", or even rarely "Ra'avin".

I first came into contact with Wicca a couple of years ago when I first came to the United States. I remember asking my friend a lot of stupid questions regarding the curses at the ancient Egyptian tombs XD. The ancient Egyptians were powerfully magickal people. But after reading a whole lot on Wicca,

I found and read the Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey. I found myself agreeing with a lot of what he said, and even disagreeing with some of what he said, though I'm not a satanist, and have never bothered to look into Luciferianism. Suffice it to say that it is the exact opposite of Christianity.

After this I looked at the magus Aleister Crowley's Book of the Law, and adopted Thelema. Though I still connect a lot to the tenets "Do what thy wilt shall be the whole of the law" ("Wilt" NOT being equal to "want"), and "Love is the law, love under will", I find that he has merely restated the concept of the theory of Yin and Yang, and at the moment, my path is my own. I am not a part of any religion or anything of the sort and seek to follow what my intuition tells to do.

At the moment, I'm searching for a series of a certain book called the "Sanguinomicon" released by a prominent member(I say this because I do not know if he is the founder or just a member of their inner council) of a group called the "Strigoii Vii" which is Latin for "Living Vampyre." The author's name is Father Sebastiaan.

Then why am I here? XD. I'm here because this is where I started: Wicca. I'm here to pay homage to the beginning of my journey and perhaps learn what I may have missed in the very beginning of my journey. Simple as that.

I am not be a member of the Witch school because I don't have the money to be, nor do I have the time to be. This does not mean that I will not contribute in other ways to this site. I'm quite friendly in personality and do not bite, I promise ^.^
