It is so great and rewarding to be in an organization that has such committed and knowledgeable people in it: People I can go to when I am not sure of my understanding of something...the group experience and so many people to give substance to what I learn is wonderful; It is not that the exercises are hard...what I mean is you can't just breeze through them without giving them thought and your full effort and without being focused. I was led here by my spirit...or by spirits that drew me here...it feels completely right for me. I was formerly a licensed minister in the United Methodist Church, but it stopped resonating true for me when I was called on the carpet for including present day spiritual guides in the services and sermons. To the main stream churches, all the prophets and spiritual guides are dead...that is so wrong- at least for me. I feel an affinity for paganism, especially the Celtic of Scotland and Saxon of Germanic antiquity. While I cast no dispersion (at least intentionally) for those who walk the christian path, I am firmly convinced that we should be true to our roots...mine are Scottish from the Malcom/McCollum clan, and English (Jorvic or York).
